Stage Right! is in its 9th year of providing arts education programs for cyber and homeschool students. Our programs are held during the day and are tailored for cyber and homeschooled students. Both semesters culminate in a fully produced musical production.
Students who participate in the Spring Semester (Jan. – April) will also have the opportunity to perform at John Nobel’s Night of the Stars along with other local high schools. It is held at the Palace Theater in Greensburg in May. Pre-teens will participate in the middle school version of this show as well.
Registration going on now! Auditions will be held the first two weeks for roles. Students who join the program after can still participate in the show as an ensemble member.

The Arts in Education program began in early 2009 when a home school mom approached Tony Marino at Stage Right with the idea of starting a class for home schooled students. Her daughter had expressed a desire to be in a musical her senior year so she could participate in the Night of the Stars. So she, with the typical determination of a home school mom, began to explore options to make that dream a reality. Stage Right jumped at the opportunity and that spring offered their first ever home schooled workshops.
The interest in the program led to two groups of students rehearsing for, what was for many, their first experience in live theater. There was a group of pre-teens who rehearsed weekly to present Peter Pan for their first performance and the teens worked to present Bye-Bye Birdie. Home schoolers were able, for the first time, to participate in The Night of the Stars event at the Palace Theater with other local high school students.
The Fall Semester resulted in a combined teen/pre-teen performance of Annie and the stage was set for the future of the Arts in Education program. The children have offered combined fall shows and individual spring shows ever since. It is awesome to watch as
each year the children learn and grow and new leaders and stars emerge!
Spring semester starts January 15 for pre-teens and January 18 for teens
